  In general, how does the process work?
  Simply fill out and submit either the Buy A Car form or Sell A Car form, along with your initial deposit, $50 for Buy A Car and $100 for Sell A Car services. We then follow up with you, based on the information you've provided on the form, to insure that everything is accurate and to make sure that we completely understand your goals and your situation. We then proceed to locate your dream car, shop relentlessly and negotiate the lowest price available...or, if selling your car, put our industry professionals to work to get you the most money possible for your vehicle. Above all...we are here to offer a smarter and more relaxing alternative to the traditional dealership experience, and put the power in your hands this time...all for a very reasonable fee.
  What steps does Any Car Any City take to find the best used cars?
  We pride ourselves on finding the best pre-owned cars in the marketplace for our clients. Once we find a car that meets our high standards, we then leverage our decades of industry knowledge to negotiate the absolute lowest possible price on your behalf. With years of experience in buying and selling cars, we have many strategies that have proven successful. There are a number of steps we take to insure that we are finding just the right vehicle for you and your situation. First of all, we only do business with reputable car dealerships, which offer higher quality vehicles. Most cars on a dealership lot have gone through an extensive inspection, and have been reconditioned and brought up to safety standards. We typically do not deal with private sellers on used vehicles, as this introduces a higher level of uncertainty and risk for ourselves and our clients than we are willing to accept. Private sellers typically don't have their car inspected or repaired before selling, and quite often you wind up buying someone else's headache.

We then look with experienced eyes at the CARFAX and/or AutoCheck vehicle history reports for every car we locate to find out about accidents, frame damage, salvage titles, lemon law buybacks, junk, flood titles, service records and more. As we review the report, we keep a keen eye out for certain aspects of the report where we can see potential hazards. But please remember, neither CARFAX nor AutoCheck always tell everything regarding a vehicle's past, and because of our industry insight and strong relations with reputable dealers, we can get even more information based upon our years of experience.

How does it work if my vehicle is sourced from out of town, and needs to be transported?
We have several trusted, nationwide auto shipping companies whom we have worked with in the past, and can utilize for this service. AnyCarAnyCity.Com will facilitate the coordination of these services, but will not be held responsible for any damage during transport. Before shipping the vehicle, please check with your insurance company to make sure the vehicle is covered under your policy. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Most commonly, any auto shipping charges incurred are far outweighed by the negotiated savings on the vehicle itself, as the reason for it being sourced from out of state.

How long does it take to find my car?
Once your deposit is received, we can usually locate your ideal new or pre-owned vehicle within 48 hours. It may take up to one week for rare or specialty automobiles. If you are looking to source your new vehicle immediately, we can accommodate this as well, and will expedite your order for no additional charge.

Sell A Car

  What if I want to sell my car?
You can either call one of our team members who will walk you through the process, or you can choose to do it yourself online through our website. To use our online system, simply click on Sell A Car, and then on the Get Started Today button in the sub navigation bar below. You will then need to give us all the information about your car that you are selling. Once you click the Submit button, you will be directed to our secure payment page, simply click Pay Now and enter your deposit to get started.

How much more can I expect to make selling my car at retail?
On average, a dealership will make $3,000-$4,000 just from your trade-in, as they will typically only give you wholesale value for your car. AnyCarAnyCity.Com has the ability and experience to sell your car for full retail value.

How long does it take to sell my car?
Typically it can take 2-4 weeks, depending upon your specific vehicle and your geographic and demographic market. If you wish to sell your vehicle as soon as possible, you may wish to price it more which case, it can sell as quickly as 3 days or even sooner.

What happens if my car doesn't sell?
No matter the year, make, model or condition of your car...somewhere out there, there is someone who wants to buy it...and it is our job to find them! We don't give up until your car is sold. Most companies will charge you upfront for their fees. Our pricing structure is such that if we don't sell your car, we don't get paid. Clearly, we are motivated to sell your car!

I've had some problems with my credit in the past...will this prevent me from purchasing a new vehicle?

Dealing With The Dealers

  What communications do I have with the dealership, and what do I do when I get there?
One of the great values in our service is that you will only deal with us all the way up until the point where we have found and pre-negotiated (based on your acceptance) the car of your dreams. When you ultimately visit that particular dealership to inspect and test drive the vehicle we have found for you, we strongly advise that you do not make contact with any dealership personnel until you have spoken with one of our agents. If the dealership knows you are emotionally attached to a vehicle it dramatically reduces our negotiation leverage with that dealer. We recommend not discussing with the dealer any details pertaining to our services...keep in mind that you are receiving your car lower than the dealership would like to sell the car for.

How is the paperwork handled with your service?
Once all the terms are agreed upon, we will then direct you to the dealer's representative, who will already be familiar with your file, and will be waiting for you at the dealership. You will then meet with the dealership's finance department to sign the necessary legal documents, tax, and licensing papers. The purchase, financing, or leasing documents will be in your name, and you will be registered as the owner of your new vehicle with the full manufacturer's warranty. You will then receive an orientation on your new or pre-owned vehicle and can start enjoying your new car. There should be no games, no hidden fees, everything is upfront, and please remember also...we never take ownership of the vehicle, we are only acting as your agent.

What about taxes?
The dealership will advise you of the exact details of registering your car with the Department of Motor Vehicles and paying sales tax for your respective city and state.

  Will I still qualify for all manufacturer's warranties, rebates, and special financing?
Yes. If buying a new car, you will get the factory warranty that comes from the manufacturer. You will also be eligible for any rebate, special incentives or manufacturers financing specials, if you qualify. If purchasing a pre-owned car, you will get the balance of any factory warranty that goes with the vehicle. If a dealership offers any other type of warranty, it will be posted on the Buyers Guide on the car. These warranties are backed by the dealership and not the manufacturer.
